Hawk Meadow has a new home.

We just completed the purchase of a beautiful 6-acre property at 110 Overlook Road in the Town of LaGrange, featuring a fully functional school building and a house for offices and additional class area. The park-like grounds include groves of large, old-growth maple trees as well as gardens, grassy areas and meadows teeming with wildlife.

The Hawk Meadow Montessori School is in its tenth year of existence. A certified Montessori institution, the school employs about two-dozen women, teaching 85 children from toddlers through 9th grade. The school’s two owner/directors, Erin Castle and Barbara Katavolos, have built a reputation for fairness, inclusiveness and generosity in helping a diverse clientele of families and children from all over the Mid-Hudson region. Along with a strong, Montessori based education, all children are given an extracurricular program that includes tennis and golf lessons, skiing, fencing, parkour, music, art, Spanish and French.
