The purpose of The Hawk Meadow Montessori School Foundation is to provide a community-based, nonprofit entity that will serve to enhance the efficacy, availability, affordability and excellence of a Hawk Meadow Montessori School education. The Foundation will foster involvement and support of the school and its objectives by community members, corporations, foundations, and other beneficial programs.

The Hawk Meadow Montessori School Foundation will work in close collaboration with the school's directorship and administration, school faculty and members of the Mid-Hudson regional community in developing programs and projects for the school. The Foundation will help raise funds for proposals that have been identified and turn such funds over to the school administration, which will be responsible for their expenditure through the Hawk Meadow Montessori Grants Process. Proposals may include educational equipment such as books and computers, equipment and paid personnel to support arts, music and other special programs, scholarships and educationally positive capital improvements.
